Our Most Epic Fundraiser of the Year! - SEPTEMBER 5, 2025
Get ready to sprinkle the rainbow! This high-energy team kicks things off in May, collecting sposorships and planning logistics through the summer. You can join the planning committee or save the date to volunteer in the fall, this is an all-hands-on-deck event! Our BIGGEST fundraiser is packed with color, fun, and school spirit. From setting the route to impementing prizes and organizing t-shirts and powder packs ā this committee brings the energy, the glitter, and the funds! *includes at 2 meetings over summer (Committment = May - October)

Wizards Behind the Screens (and Behind the Scenes)!
The Tech Chair is the digital backbone of the PTO! This role is more internal, working closely with the board and other committees to keep everything running smoothly online. Responsibilities include but are not limited to updating and managing the PTO website, creating QR codes for flyers and events, fixing broken links, setting up Google Forms, and making fun recap or promo videos.
š” Helpful Tools You Might Use:
Canva (for eye-catching graphics & flyers)
Google Drive/Docs/Forms (for organizing and collecting info)
Bitly or TinyURL (for shortening and customizing links)
YouTube, iMovie, or Canva Video (for simple video editing)
If you're the go-to person for "Can you fix this link?" or "Can you help with this flyer?" ā this role is totally for you. Bonus points if you know how to embed things and make slideshows sparkle! āØ
šø YEARBOOK COMMITTEEĀ
Memory Makers!
Capture the moments, create the magic! Take photos throughout the year, design pages (we have this years template saved to fill in the blanks), and organize all the sweet snapshots into our fabulous yearbook.
š ROOM PARENTS
The Classroomās VIPs (Very Involved Parents)!
Room Parents are the heart of each classroom and the key link between the teacher, families, and the PTO. Think of them as the class captain ā helping keep things organized, connected, and fun!
š What They Do:
Support your teacher ā in any way they need (all teachers partner with their room parent differently)Ā
Act as the PTO liaison for their class ā helping to share important updates and reminders from the PTO
Organize and communicate about classroom celebrations and holiday parties
Coordinate volunteers for school-wide events like the Carnival, Book Fair, and more
Help collect or create goodie bags or tokens of appreciation for teachers during Staff Appreciation Week and Parent-Teacher Conferences
Support special events like Lions Night Out by helping gather raffle basket donations or class contributions
Make sure all families feel included and in the loop!
If you're organized, friendly, and love being in the know (or are ready to up your email game), this role is a great way to stay connected and make a big difference for your childās class!

Spreading Sweetness & Gratitude!
The masters of warm fuzzies and thoughtful treats. Whether itās Staff Appreciation Week or goodies during conferences, this crew keeps our staff smiling with snacks, smiles, and sweet surprises.
š² OUTDOOR ED COMMITTEE
Adventure Awaits ā But First, Fundraising!
This committee is dedicated to helping our 5th graders experience an unforgettable Outdoor Education trip ā a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that comes with a big price tag! Made up of 5th grade families (but all are welcome!), this team works hard all year to fundraise and make the trip possible for every student.
They organize creative mini-fundraisers like Penny Wars, Winter & Valentine Grams, minimum day dances, and Dining with Lions where a portion of the proceeds goes back to the school. Itās all hands on deck to help cover costs and ensure every 5th grader gets to go on this epic learning experience.
This committee is perfect for energetic parents who want to make a big impact and donāt mind a little hustle along the way! šļøš°Ā

šæ GARDEN CLUBĀ
Dig it, Plant it, Grow it!
These green thumbs work with students and teachers to plant, grow, and care for our school garden and keep our outdoors space shining! Flowers and smiles grow here! This club hosts one to two events per year.
šØ BANNERS COMMITTEE
Fence Fame & Sponsor Support!
This behind-the-scenes hero manages all the banners displayed on the schoolās front fence ā those eye-catching signs that show off local business sponsors and community supporters.
This role involves coordinating with sponsors, collecting logos and info, organizing banner design and printing, and following up for renewals or new sponsorships each year. Itās a fun mix of creativity, communication, and community outreach ā plus, it brings in important funds for the school!
If youāre a friendly emailer, love a good Canva moment, and donāt mind keeping a checklist or two, this is a fantastic and fulfilling spot to jump in!

Merch Masters!
This chair coordinates school spirit wear ā from hoodies to hats! Organizes inventory, in person sample sales, semi annual online sales, and delivery of Goliath Gear that makes everyone roar with pride!Ā š¾Ā
š SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
Bringing the Bookstore to School!
Help create a magical reading experience! Volunteers help set up, assist shoppers, work the register, and keep the book fair running smoothly. Bonus: you get to hang out with all those books!Ā
April 13-17, 2026: we will need volunteers at drop off and pick up time the whole week!Ā

They organize collections and promotions for Box Tops (both digital and paper) to earn free money for the school! Itās tiny pieces for big impact.

They decorate school bulletin boards and update the marquee outside with event info. Itās the first thing families see and always brings smiles!
